Patrick Crowley is an award-winning creative director and editorial strategist with a proven track record of building visually impactful, culturally resonant work across the entertainment industry. Currently an art director at Pentagram, he designs Netflix Queue, the streamer’s flagship print and digital journal. His broader portfolio includes creative work for Warner Chappell, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Hearst Publications, and Billboard.
Previously, Patrick served as founding editor and senior director of Billboard Pride, where he launched the brand’s first LGBTQ vertical and earned Billboard its first GLAAD Media Award. He directed high-profile editorial campaigns, including Love Letters to the LGBTQ Community and Spillin’ the Tea, the brand’s most-viewed video series. In addition to editorial leadership, he also served as art director for the publication, designing cover stories and developing the a visual identity across the website, video, and social media platforms.
Known for his bold typography, saturated color and narrative-driven design, Patrick’s work lives at the intersection of pop culture and visual storytelling. His background spans editorial direction, graphic design and multi-platform content strategy — with a creative vision shaped by a lifelong love of music and film.
